As an investor, your fund probably has an Annual Management Charge that you pay each year. This includes a charge to fund ongoing or “trail” commission to whoever sold you the plan, usually around 0.5% every year.

This charge is usually there and is payable regardless of how well the fund performs. Even if you bought directly from the fund manager, this commission element will almost always be retained by the fund manager.

We believe you have a right to expect an ongoing service for this charge.

When you complete the Registration Form this gives us your authority to obtain your fund information from your Fund Managers in order to provide your fund reviews. If you didn’t originally buy the fund though Honister, it will also transfer any annual trail commission you are already paying to us, which enables us to provide you with this valuable service without it costing you an extra penny!

We do not have the right to change any of your investments and you retain complete control. What’s more, if, at any time, you are not happy with the service, you are free to discontinue without any costs or penalties.
